Magik Press Studios prints limited-edition, bespoke, and one-of-a-kind books. We are a ‘micro-press’ which focuses on zines, artist catalogs, and handmade artist editions. The studio hosts unique community art events and artist Aly Maderson Quinlog teaches private art lessons, paper arts workshops, and cyanotype printing. They are available for traveling zine and cyanotype workshops for all ages and experience levels.
Aly Maderson Quinlog is a dynamic multi-disciplinary/multi-media artist, poet, and art educator. Aly grew up near Charleston, SC and attended Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC for a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography which they received in 2002. Xer photographic work has been exhibited worldwide. More recently xe earned a Post Baccalaureate certificate in Painting from the Lyme Academy of Arts in Old Lyme, CT and an MA in Art + Design Education from Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, RI. Currently, Aly teaches workshops on alternative process photography, poetry, and book arts throughout New England.
